This article examines contemporary challenges and prospects for enhancing legislative framework aimed at combating money laundering and financial violations in China. Special emphasis is placed on the evolution of sophisticated schemes involving advanced financial instruments and digital platforms like cryptocurrencies, blockchain technologies, and other next-generation tools. An overview of the situation regarding illicit monetary flows highlights the role of the state in developing efficient measures for controlling and preventing financial sector violations. The necessity of a comprehensive approach towards regulating financial institutions and organizations engaged in large-scale capital movements is stressed. Among proposed solutions are improvements in normative legal foundations, creation of modem analytical techniques for transaction monitoring, and enhancement of collaboration between governmental bodies, law enforcement structures, and international organizations. A separate chapter addresses advances in technology for detecting dubious operations, necessitating upgraded technical capabilities of law enforcement agencies and the development of new analytical models leveraging advanced big-data processing technologies. International dimensions of the topic are thoroughly discussed because globalization enhances the threat of spreading criminal networks across borders. Efforts to intensify interstate interaction, experience-sharing, and coordinated actions within international agreements such as the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) are advocated. Thus, the paper offers a set of measures intended to increase the efficacy of state oversight over banking activity and other market participants, reinforce mechanisms of legal regulation, and prevent corruption in the financial-economic sphere.
