ABSTRACT The SDGs were originally considered as unique goals with wide acceptance, but later a lot of interdependence was identified. It was found certain dependence reinforces both SDGs, whereas certain dependence is a compromise. This paper analyses these dependences by forming six prime groups and gives suggestions for resolving the conflict arising due to progress in achievement of these goals. A sample contradiction of SDG 8 with SDGs 12, 13, 14, 15 is stated. SDG 3 Good Health and Well‐being purely focuses on physical well‐being, with no direction for psychological well‐being; hence, happiness index measure can be included for quantifying the progress is given as suggestion. SDGs 8 propose human development in terms of nations' GDP growth rate. But other development indices of education hence, quantification is suggested. The self‐resolving SDGs are mentioned, and global ties as a strategy for enhancement are also discussed as a holistic approach.
