Field-theoretic framework formulates Tonal Meta-Ontology, linking coherence and responsibility.
This work formulates a field-theoretic backbone for Tonal Meta-Ontology (TMO), treating organized systems as excitations of a complex scalar field endowed with a contextual phase. Under standard assumptions from relativistic field theory---locality, Lorentz invariance, global and local U(1) symmetry, and power-counting renormalizability in four dimensions---we show that the admissible Lagrangian for the tonal field takes the canonical form\[TMO = ημν (D_μ Ψ)^*(D_ν Ψ) - V({Ψ}),\]where \(Ψ = {Ψ} eiθ\) encodes a coherence magnitude and an identity phase, and \(D_μ = ∂_μ - i A_μ\) couples the phase to a responsibility context. From this structure we derive: (i) a conserved Noether current \(J^μ\) interpreted as Responsibility, satisfying a continuity equation; and (ii) a nonlinear field equation for \(Ψ\) with a quartic potential. We then show how, in a spatially homogeneous and scale-reduced limit, the same potential structure is compatible with the Unified Statistical Equation (USE) for coherence,\(d/dE = λ (1+κ )\),previously derived from a one-dimensional variational principle and containing Dynamic Closure Theory (DCT) as the \(κ=-1\) case. The Tonal Lagrangian thus serves as a geometric envelope for coherence evolution, unifying conserved responsibility currents, Higgs- and Ginzburg–Landau-like order-parameter dynamics, and the statistical regimes identified by the USE.
