Abstract Introduction: Pain in lower back region just before the onset of menstruation and during menstruation is a very common complaint by females in their reproductive age. BOSU ball exercises have not been studied for menstrual low back pain young females. Materials and Method: The study was conducted in 44 females aged 1825 years with regular menstrual cycle. The included participants were allocated in two groups. Group A receiving Modified Stretching Exercises and Group B receiving BOSU ball exercises. They were administered Visual Analog Scale (VAS) and Roland Morris Questionnaires (RMQ) and were asked to fill in the outcome measures pretreatment and posttreatment. Results: Changes in pretreatment scores and posttreatment score of VAS AND RMQ showed clinical significance in both the groups ( P = 0.001). Between group analysis of the groups showed that experimental group was superior than control group in relieving pain.( P = 0.0032) Conclusion: The study concluded that both stretching- and BOSU-based exercises are beneficial in reducing pain and disability caused by MLBP. However, BOSU ball exercises proved to be slightly superior in reducing pain.
