AbstractThis paper introduces area biased Xrama Distribution, which extends the Xrama distributionby applying an area-biasing method. The probability density and cumulative distributionfunctions are defined, and key properties such as moments, survival function, and hazard rateare studied. The model’s parameters are estimated using the method of maximum likelihood.Finally, the Area-biased Xrama distribution is applied to real-life cancer survival data,showing better performance compared to existing models.
