Visible light-mediated amidation of C(sp3)–H bonds demonstrates a new approach for synthesizing complex compounds.
Visible light‐mediated selective amidation of unactivated C(sp 3 )H bonds is presented with acyl sulfilimines as free nitrene precursors via triplet–triplet energy transfer pathway. Both intermolecular and intramolecular reactions were achieved under mild, additive‐free conditions without metal–nitrenoids formed. This protocol offers a widely applicable approach to access various synthetically versatile compounds, including N ‐acyl hemiaminal ether, benzo[ e ][1,3]oxazin‐4‐one, and isoindolin‐1‐one derivatives in a selective manner.
