In cases of a discrepancy, Bolton analysis should be evaluated to ensure appropriate orthodontic planning. This article presents a case report of a young female patient with conical upper lateral incisors and an impacted upper canine. CPD/Clinical Relevance: The treatment plan presented illustrates the importance of evaluating intra-arch dental proportions so that the decision to increase or decrease dental volume ensures adequate aesthetic and functional results.
