This design project demonstrates a mobile hydropower solution for generating eco-friendly energy in remote areas, benefiting local communities.
In this modern world where mostly everything needs power to operate and this power is achieved through different resources, using different techniques. The main resources of power production is coal, hydro, nuclear & solar, but in most cases the resources and methods used for production are not eco-friendly like coal burning & nuclear procedures etc. Moreover on hilly areas where most of the people are deprived of electricity likewise on the camping spots, where tourists needs affordable and easily available power. In this context, the objective of this work is to make power available on such sites by using eco-friendly, cost effective and easy method to facilitates the tourists & local community. The proposed study focuses on the direct river flow to produce energy on the basis of emergency power demands. More specifically, in this work we provide scientific arguments on how the energy issue can be readily resolved and then design and fabricate a mobile hydropower plant for this purpose. It has been calculated that the adoption of mobile hydropower plant in Pakistan can save upto 120 million tonnes of coal or 83.3 billion liters of oil annually. Furthermore, these plants are environmentally friendly and make a low contribution to global warming.
