Abstract This study realizes various phase transitions, including the 2nd, 1st and 0th order ones, in a holographic p-wave superfluid model including 4th and 6th power nonlinear terms with coefficients λ and τ. We present the condensate and free energy curves for the various phase transitions, which along with the - λ - τ parameter space confirm the universal control of the 4th and 6th power terms on the phase transitions previously discovered in the holographic s-wave model. With a slightly negative value of λ, we further present a typical - τ - ρ phase diagram featuring a line of first-order phase transition points that terminates at a critical point, beyond which lies a supercritical region.
