Analyzes mass concentration in and blow-up behavior of nonlinear Schrödinger equations, indicating complexity of solutions.
We analyze the mass concentration behavior of non-global solutions to a focusing mass-critical magnetic nonlinear inhomogeneous Schrödinger equation, which arises within the theory of nonlinear equations, in two spatial dimensions. The novelty in this work is to examine the blow-up concentration of the INLS equation that includes a rotation term, which complement [Campos and Cardoso, J. Dyn. Differ. Equations 34(3), 2347–2369 (2022)] and [Peng and Zhao, Math. Methods Appl. Sci. 41(18), 9408 (2018)]. The challenge is to overcome two main difficulties. The first one is the presence of an Aharonov–Bohm potential and the second one is an inhomogeneous term, singular in zero. The methodology of the proofs is based on a refined compactness result, obtained by using the linear profile decomposition.
