Genome sequence reveals gene annotation in Lepidoptera, indicating extensive genomic information about Ennomos fuscantarius.
<ns3:p> We present a genome assembly from an individual male <ns3:italic>Ennomos fuscantarius</ns3:italic> (the Dusky Thorn; Arthropoda; Insecta; Lepidoptera; Geometridae). The genome sequence is 444.9 megabases in span. Most of the assembly is scaffolded into 31 chromosomal pseudomolecules, including the Z sex chromosome. The mitochondrial genome has also been assembled and is 15.49 kilobases in length. Gene annotation of this assembly on Ensembl identified 12,173 protein coding genes. </ns3:p>
