Abstract Environmental degradation has emerged as one of the most serious global challenges of the 21st century due to rapid industrialization, uncontrolled urbanization, population growth, and excessive consumption of natural resources. While engineering has played a critical role in improving human living standards and supporting economic development, traditional engineering practices have also significantly contributed to pollution, climate change, and the depletion of natural resources. In response to these challenges, green engineering has evolved as a sustainable approach that integrates environmental responsibility into engineering design and decision-making processes.Green Engineering, Environmental Protection, Sustainable Development, Renewable Energy, Pollution Control, Waste Management, Environmental Engineering
