Reveals interactions of magmatic compositions in platforms, indicating their geological significance.
Four main problems are considered in short. These are: interactions of rocks of different composition; nature and composition of parent magmas; mechanisms of formation of parent magmas, magmatism geodynamics and relation to global tectonics. The authors believe that the initial magmas of traps correspond to relatively magnesial melts enriched by or depleted in noncoherent elements to a different degree. Irrespectively of their alkalinity they obey the same laws of crystallization differentiation, and early olivine accumulation can play an important role.
