Abstract The endocrown has emerged as an innovative restorative solution for endodontically treated posterior teeth, offering a conservative and biomechanically sound alternative to traditional post- and core crowns. By utilizing the pulp chamber for macro-retention and adhesion within the coronal structure, endocrowns reduce the need for extensive tooth preparation, preserving the integrity of the remaining dental tissues. This restorative technique harnesses the advantages of modern adhesive dentistry and high-strength ceramics to improve clinical outcomes, longevity, and patient satisfaction. This paper explores the design principles, material choices, and clinical performance of endocrowns.
