Abstract

Magnetic field dependence of fluorescence from monoclinic rubrene crystals was observed under the magnetic fields up to 10 T. At several magnetic fields, dips, which are a decrease of the fluorescence intensity at a specific magnetic field, were observed, indicating that exchange-coupled triplet pairs are generated by singlet fission. The structures of the two distinct exchange-coupled triplet pairs are discussed with dip positions.
