Seismic vulnerability assessment of historic city centres requires a multidisciplinary approach that captures both the quantitative and qualitative aspects of complex urban environments. Within this context, this study presents an interpretative model for the integrated management of seismic risk, combining structural engineering, geomatics, conservation strategies, and urban planning. The integrated interpretative model combines the results from geomatics techniques, such as photogrammetry by drone, laser-scanning, SLAM, 3D modelling, to enhance data accuracy and spatial representation. Conservation and consolidation strategies are tailored to the unique characteristics of historic masonry structures, ensuring compatibility with preservation objectives. Structural vulnerability assessment models permit to evaluate the state of the different buildings of the city centre. Specific analyses allow to consider street network for a correct interpretation and planning of the emergency phase These aspects have been integrated into a unified GIS environment, containing the results of the geomatic surveys, form-based surveys for collecting the main characteristics of the buildings, together with the results of the analysis of the street network. Such an integrated approach aims at being an operative tool for stake holders, decision makers and urban planners, supporting effectively the seismic risk management and the evacuation planning in the emergency phase. Its applicability and effectiveness are demonstrated through the case study of Fiumefreddo Bruzio (CS), in the Southern Italy.
