Demonstrates the statistical properties of the Topp–Leone Shanker distribution, indicating its practical use for lifetime data.
In this study, we introduce the Topp–Leone Shanker distribution and investigate its statistical properties, including moment expressions, random variate generation, parameter estimation and its applicability to real-world datasets. The empirical results indicate that the proposed distribution provides a good fit for lifetime data, as supported by model selection criteria such as the Akaike Information Criterion and goodness-of-fit measures including the Kolmogorov–Smirnov test.
