Ectoparasites (arthropods) such as Sarcoptes scabiei (scabies), Phthirus pubis (crabs) and Pediculus humanus corporis (body lice) can cause infections of skin in the genital area. Clinical presentations and diagnosis of these conditions will be covered, and management of such cases will be discussed.
