Background: Sjögren’s disease (SjD) is a chronic autoimmune disease typified by the lymphocytic infiltration of salivary glands (SGs). The SGs are hypothesised to be a reservoir for autoreactive B-cells that clonally expand and transform into lymphomas. We therefore aimed to compare the B-cell repertoire in paired SGs and peripheral blood (PB) from patients with SjD and controls.
