Whilst plasma cells have a distinct morphology, they can on occasion mimic other cells. Adult T-cell leukaemia/lymphoma (ATLL) is a mature lymphoproliferative disorder known for its pleomorphic phenotype. We present a case of a plasma cell myeloma (PCM) with morphology similar to that of ATLL.
