Herbicide poisonings in Australia are mostly accidental and associated with minimal toxicity. Severe toxicity is rare and associated with deliberate self-poisonings with paraquat, 2-methyl-4-chlorophenoxyacetic acid/bromoxynil coformulation, and high concentration glyphosate products.
