This research investigates how morphological parameters impact vertical jump performance in under-16 volleyball players, suggesting potential training implications.
The goal of our research is to study the vertical ju mp and its correlation with so me mo rphological parameter of the volleyball players. 14 volleyball players have participated in this study. Their average age is 15±08 year old.Still we realized so me mo rphological measures and 2 tests of the vertical ju mp on the sample, knowing that the squat jump (SJ) is a test to determine the maximu m load of the lo wer extremities. The morphological measures are obtained thanks toanthropometric case (SIBERHEGNER) and through the myotest-pro, we’ve calculated the strength of the lower extremit ies. The result has permitted us to see that there is a correlation between the length of the lower lamb and the ju mp ’s high, the length of the ju mp and the speed of the execution and the ju mp’s high.
