The maritime corridor linking the West African littoral to the Port of Rotterdam represents a vital, yet historically burdened, trade artery currently undergoing a radical "Blue-Green" transformation. While Rotterdam serves as a high-tech global benchmark with an annual throughput exceeding 14 million TEUs , the West African terminus remains hindered by significant infrastructure and technological asymmetries. This report analyzes the strategic evolution of this corridor through the lens of the West African Sustainable Ocean Programme (WASOP), highlighting the path from structural dependency to sustainable regional integration.
