Abstract

The Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC) faces significant gender disparities in legal empowerment within rural communities. A conceptual analysis focusing on existing literature and expert consultations to construct the framework. Policy makers should prioritise the development of comprehensive legal frameworks that address customary laws and integrate gender-sensitive training programmes for law enforcement officials.
