Numerical observation confirms the weak mixing angle equation in the Standard Model, suggesting unique particle ratios.
We report the numerical observation that the weak mixing angle in the MS-bar scheme satisfies sin²θW = 5/(17√φ) to 0.033σ (PDG 2024), where 5 is the number of bosons in the Standard Model (4 gauge bosons + 1 Higgs), 17 is the total number of elementary particles, and φ = (1+√5)/2 is the golden ratio. An exhaustive search over all ratios of Standard Model particle counts combined with simple mathematical constants shows this is the unique expression within 1σ. No theoretical derivation is provided.
