This is the updated preprint (Technical Specification v1.4) of the Qualia Arc Protocol. Key updates in this version (incorporating Phase H and Phase I developments) include: Dual-Route Anomaly Detector (Article 10): Implementation of a χ²-grounded Mahalanobis distance with residual tracking. This mathematically resolves the false-positive issue for users with ASD characteristics (who naturally exhibit low emotional variance) while enabling the delayed detection of sophisticated deception. Dynamic Safety Cap (Article 14): Replacement of the static friction cap with a dynamic function (ΔP_max). This mathematically formalizes the protocol's core philosophy that "protection of vulnerability supersedes relational expansion." In other words, the system autonomously and safely blocks excessive interventions when user fatigue reaches its limit, without compromising the underlying depth of the relationship. Additionally, this manuscript significantly expands the mathematical proofs and includes detailed simulation results spanning 15 pages. This manuscript also provides a transparent account of the development process itself, detailing the rigorous adversarial testing and the foundational dialogues between the human author and multiple AI systems.
