The effectiveness of off-grid community systems in South Africa for agricultural productivity remains a subject of interest. This study employs panel data analysis using econometric techniques to estimate system performance across different communities. A significant proportion (45%) of off-grid systems showed consistent performance over two years, with robust standard errors indicating the reliability's statistical significance. The panel-data framework provides a nuanced understanding of system reliability in diverse South African contexts. Further research should focus on integrating technological innovations and improving data collection methods for enhanced accuracy. The empirical specification follows Y=₀+^ X+, and inference is reported with uncertainty-aware statistical criteria.
