The paper examines the effect of laser radiation of varying duration on wide-bandgap dosimetric materials at comparable intensities of the first harmonic energy flux from a neodymium laser (pulse energy of 1.165 eV). Use is made of thermoluminescent detectors made of single-crystal materials based on aluminum oxide (TLD-500) and lithium fluoride (DTG-4), as well as ceramics based on silicon oxide (TLD-K) and aluminum nitride (AlN). The employment of different types of detectors with varying sensitivities to light and ionizing radiation makes it possible to estimate the contributions of energy absorbed by the target during laser irradiation due to the ionizing component and light.
