Theoretical model suggests blockchain improves claims processing in microinsurance programmes, indicating benefits for Egyptian contexts.
Blockchain technology has been increasingly explored for enhancing transparency in various financial systems, including microinsurance programmes which often face challenges related to trust and efficiency. This study will not include empirical results but instead will develop a theoretical model that outlines the potential benefits and mechanisms by which blockchain could enhance transparency in claims processing for microinsurance programmes. This theoretical framework provides a comprehensive model for understanding how blockchain technology could be leveraged to improve financial transparency in microinsurance programmes, particularly in Egypt. Future research should focus on piloting blockchain implementations in Egyptian microinsurance settings to validate the proposed model's effectiveness and scalability.
