This study aims to evaluate the reliability of district hospitals in Kenya by assessing their system performance over a period. A panel-data estimation method will be employed using time-series data from district hospitals spanning multiple years. The reliability index for each hospital system will be calculated based on predefined criteria such as diagnostic accuracy, patient flow efficiency, and resource utilization. The analysis reveals a significant variation in system reliability among districts, with some showing consistent improvement over the study period while others exhibit declining performance trends. This study provides evidence of systematic variations in healthcare systems' performance across Kenya's district hospitals, highlighting the need for targeted interventions and resource allocation to enhance overall service quality. Policy-makers should prioritise investments in infrastructure and human resources to improve system reliability. Additionally, routine audits and feedback mechanisms are recommended to ensure continuous improvement. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
