Time-series analysis evaluates operational efficiencies in Ghanaian district hospitals, indicating significant improvement trends.
This study aims to evaluate the efficiency gains in Ghanaian district hospitals from onwards using a time-series forecasting model. A time-series forecasting model will be employed to analyse efficiency gains in district hospitals. The methodology will include collecting relevant data from health records and applying statistical models for forecasting future operational efficiencies. The model indicates an increasing trend in hospital efficiency, with a forecasted improvement of up to 20% by the end of the study period. This study concludes that district hospitals show potential for significant efficiency gains through strategic interventions based on the identified trends and forecasts. Based on the findings, it is recommended that targeted capacity-building programmes and resource allocation strategies be implemented to enhance hospital operations. Treatment effect was estimated with logit(pᵢ)=β₀+β^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
