A case report describes successful antenatal diagnosis and management of a congenital ranula cyst, indicating its importance for neonatal outcomes.
Export Congenital ranula cysts are rare. We describe a case of a congenital ranula cyst diagnosed antenatally at 22 weeks gestation, highlighting the antenatal diagnosis, ultrasonographic features and its management. The neonate underwent a successful surgical excision of the cyst 9 days after delivery without any complications. This article emphasises the importance of antenatal diagnosis and planned perinatal management in the presence of the required teams to improve neonatal outcomes.
