Elderly women in Nairobi slums often face multiple health challenges, including mental wellbeing issues. A mixed-methods approach was employed to evaluate changes in health indicators post-intervention. Significant improvements were observed in depressive symptoms (mean reduction by 25%) following the intervention, with a 95% confidence interval for effect size (0. 61, 0. 89). Mental wellbeing programmes led to substantial health improvements among elderly women in Nairobi slums. Further research should explore long-term effects and scalability of these interventions. Treatment effect was estimated with logit (pᵢ) =₀+^ Xᵢ, and uncertainty reported using confidence-interval based inference.
