Recent advancements in artificial intelligence (AI) have led to increased data usage and governance practices across Ghanaian societies. However, these developments raise ethical concerns regarding privacy and equitable access. Theoretical synthesis of existing literature and ethical guidelines relevant to AI ethics in African societies. The theoretical framework provides a robust foundation for policymakers, researchers, and practitioners in developing ethical guidelines and practices for AI-driven data governance in Ghana. Develop culturally informed training programmes for data stewards and implement periodic reviews of data ethics policies within organizations.
