Creation myths are a rich source of cultural heritage in Africa, offering insights into the origins of life, societies, and natural phenomena. The research employs a qualitative approach, utilising interviews with cultural experts and archival sources to gather data. Comparative analysis will be used to highlight the unique aspects of each myth while identifying common themes. A notable theme among the creation myths studied is the concept of water as a fundamental element in the genesis of life, evident across various cultures within Chad. The comparative study reveals distinct cultural narratives but also consistent elements that underscore the interconnectedness of African oral traditions. Further research should focus on how these creation myths influence contemporary African societies and their environmental practices.
