This paper proposes the total entropy conservation hypothesis for a closed information–matter combined system, and reinterprets the nature of consciousness, quantum observation, and cosmic dynamics within a unified monist framework. Based on the entropy conservation axiom, this study gives a theoretical interpretation of self-observation and consciousness, and provides a non-idealistic, non-mystical physical mechanism for the double-slit interference experiment. The theory does not belong to traditional idealism, materialism, or Cartesian mind–body dualism. It only takes a single closed system, entropy conservation, and self-observation structure as core presuppositions, and completes a complete logical closed loop from ontology to verifiable predictions. It provides a new theoretical path for the unification of consciousness science, foundational issues of quantum mechanics, and thermodynamics.
