Demonstrates spatial distribution patterns of mineralization in deposits, suggesting geological connections.
Mineralization of pyrite-polymetallic formation follows three main groups of regularities in its spatial distribution: regional (dependence of deposit composition on the distance from mantle-crust faults), local (connection of deposits with paleovolcanic structures) and at place (mineralization zoning in thickness and along the strike of a deposit). The complexity of deposit structure depends generally on age of the host rocks. The major primary mineralization is dated back to the pre-folding era, resulting from Devonian volcanism. A principal geological-genetic model for deposit formation in northwestern Rudny Altai is considered, with six groups of deposits being distinguished according to their characteristic genetic features.
