Stayback permission management in hostels is traditionally handled through manual registers or written applications, which lead to poor record maintenance, lack of transparency and security concerns. This paper proposes StayBack+, a web-based stayback permission and monitoring system designed to automate the process of requesting, approving, and tracking stayback permissions for hostel students. The system allows students to submit stayback requests online by specifying date, time, and reason, while hostel authorities can digitally approve or reject the requests. All stayback records are stored in a centralized database for monitoring and verification. StayBack+ aims to reduce administrative workload, improve security, and ensure transparent hostel management through digital automation.
