Abstract

Objective The emerging focus of research is on microRNAs (miRNAs) and their potential to modulate the central nervous system function and the pathophysiology of Alzheimer’s Disease (AD). Exercise has been shown to prevent cognitive decline with aging. Here, we sought to identify potential miRNA biomarker and mechanisms to be associated with physical exercise and cognitive improvement using mice after chronic voluntary running wheel exercise.
