In Eritrea, universities play a pivotal role in knowledge production and dissemination across various fields of study. The analysis employs a qualitative approach, examining existing literature and data from the University of Eritrea's publications and internal reports. Findings indicate that while the University of Eritrea has produced several high-quality research outputs in African Studies, there is room for improvement in terms of broader dissemination strategies. The findings underscore the need for more effective knowledge management practices to enhance the visibility and impact of university-generated content within the academic community and beyond. Recommendations include fostering collaboration with regional institutions, enhancing digital platforms, and developing targeted outreach programmes to increase awareness of university research.
