In shooting sports, the visual system plays a pivotal yet often misunderstood role. The long-held belief that good vision is the key to becoming a sharpshooter is one-sided. From an educational psychology perspective, this paper explores the function of the visual system in various stages of shooting skill development, analyzes the physiological and psychological factors behind the phenomenon of visual shift, and proposes targeted strategies to overcome it. These findings provide a scientific theoretical basis for shooting instruction and training, helping shooters improve accuracy and achieve breakthroughs in training.
