Analyzes the Q&A genre's impact on business media, suggesting its vital role in digital communication.
The subject of the research is the "Question and Answer" (Q&A) genre in its contemporary digital implementation within English-language business media. The author examined it not as a static textual form but as a dynamic communicative and discursive model that adapts to the conditions of the digital environment. The aim of the study is to identify the structural and semantic characteristics, linguistic and stylistic features, and discursive practices of the Q&A genre in English-language business media of the digital age. The thematic content of the genre is explored, as well as its role in presenting key topics of business discourse (market analysis, corporate strategies, forecasting, career advice). The linguistic means constituting the genre, as well as the tools for implementing specific discursive practices, are analyzed in detail. The study of this genre reveals broader trends in the adaptation of professional discourse to the online environment, where the effectiveness of communication is measured by clarity, usefulness, and speed of information absorption. The methodology includes discourse analysis in the tradition of critical media studies, content analysis of thematic clusters, linguistic and stylistic analysis of question constructions and response formation strategies, and comparative analysis of platform adaptations of the genre based on CNBC and The Economist materials. The scientific novelty of the study is determined by the profound transformations of the media landscape in the era of digitalization, which not only change the formats of content dissemination but also reform the genre system of journalism itself. In this context, the Q&A genre has evolved from an auxiliary or technical format into a key tool of business communication. Its relevance for business media is defined by its unique ability to combine timeliness, interactivity, and analytical depth. The results of the study reveal that the Q&A genre functions as a hybrid discursive formation, integrating elements of interviews, expert commentary, and interactive communication. Structurally, the genre is implemented through three main models: synchronous live Q&A formats, extended interviews with the publication of transcripts, and systematic FAQ sections. The linguistic and stylistic analysis reveals the dominance of information questions with a high degree of nominalization, characteristic of economic discourse, while the answers are constructed through strategies of reference to empirical data, the use of specific examples, and the establishment of categorical epistemic modality.
