Digital cultural heritage preservation in resource-limited environments faces unique challenges that require innovative solutions. The research employed a mixed-methods approach involving surveys, interviews, and archival analysis. Data were collected from 20 Moroccan communities across different regions. A significant proportion (75%) of participants reported inadequate internet connectivity as the primary barrier to digital preservation efforts in their communities. Community-led initiatives that integrate local knowledge with technological support are essential for effective digital heritage preservation in Morocco. Investment in community-based infrastructure and training programmes is recommended to enhance digital cultural heritage preservation efforts.
