Prior to fieldwork, a search of historic assets within 1km of the site was provided by Worcestershire Historic Environment Record and online sources including TheGenealogist.co.uk were accessed. A very useful collection of early photographs supplied by the agent was also employed. Recording was undertaken using pro-forma recording sheets and photographs were taken with a Nikon D3200 SLR camera and aerial images with a Mavic Mini 2 UAV. The upper floor of the building is very dilapidated and could only be viewed from the top of the stairs and by the use of a pole mounted DJI Osmo mobile 6 camera. Descriptions of these rooms are derived from the photographs and descriptions within CgMs Historic Building Appraisal and the RPS Built Heritage Statement (2021). The Holloway is depicted on the Ordnance Survey drawing of 1812 and was constructed most likely in the 18th century.
