The status of the FI.NU.DA. (Fisica Nucleare a DAFNE) facility of Frascati Laboratories is reviewed. The performance of FINUDA, in terms of resolution and rates of produced hypernuclei, is compared with the other existing facilities. The brakthrough in the field of hypernuclear studies, due to the unique combination of slow, monochromatic, low-background K-s produced at the DAFNE F-factory with the high resolution, large acceptance spectrometer is underlined.
