Urban maternal health and nutrition programmes in Cairo are critical for improving women's well-being and child development outcomes. A mixed-methods approach was employed, including qualitative interviews and quantitative surveys to assess programme implementation and participant feedback. Community engagement levels were notably high, with over 80% of participants indicating satisfaction; however, significant disparities in service accessibility existed across different socio-economic groups. While community-based models have shown promise, further targeted interventions are needed to address identified inequalities and improve overall coverage. Priority should be given to enhancing outreach efforts and ensuring equitable access to services for all urban residents.
