Proves a new regularity criterion for 3D Navier–Stokes equations, indicating implications for fluid flow stability.
In the paper, we consider the three‐dimensional forced Navier–Stokes equations in a bounded domain and prove a new regularity criterion based on the behavior of kinetic energy. More precisely, we prove that the weak Leray–Hopf solution is regular if the flow's kinetic energy is non‐decreasing. Examples of such solutions are constructed.
