Key Points

This work aims to address the challenges in countering lightweight drone swarm tactics using a low-cost acoustic defense system.
Developed a dual-band acoustic system with mobile and fixed units.
Integrated ultrasonic and infrasound jamming technologies.
Designed a capsule-shaped acoustic coverage for effective swarm interception.
Utilized an intelligent multi-mode trigger mechanism.
Achieved a countermeasure success rate exceeding 92%.
Lowered single-use costs of disposable units to under $220.
Reduced costs of recyclable units to less than $15 after recycling.
Enabled 24/7 defense against suicide drones with high precision.
