This research aims to develop a framework for evaluating kinematic coherence in the Milky Way stellar halo.
Defined proxies for radial and tangential velocity correlations.
Established the kinematic coherence length L_KC.
Developed a two-layer null model using the Jeans equation and simulations.
Tested residual kinematic organization against previous coherence profiles.
Introduced three primary proxies for analyzing velocity correlations.
Defined four kill switches to refine the analysis framework.
A two-layer model provides a foundation for future data-driven studies.
