Analyzes requirements management in exceptional situations, emphasizing the need for integrated process modeling.
The paradigm shift from mere data provision to the end-to-end modeling of needs-based information use (data, analyses, visualizations, alternatives, decisions, measures, documentation), with the challenges of rapidly increasing complexity and growing dynamics of change, leads to structural problem areas for adequate (holistic) ontologies that comprise not only semantics but also procedural requirements (pragmatics). Process modeling needs to be integrated into all facets of cross-organizational/multinational system design based on dedicated requirements engineering to ensure adequate foresighting, decision-making, as well as monitoring of measures and goals achievement.
